How do I compile Perl files into an executable on Windows XP?

The perlcc command (documentation below) compiles perl code into an executable.





I've also linked to perl2exe, a commercial packages that compiles perl for Windows, but it seems perlcc should do all you need. But perl2exe may have a nicer interface.

download that, then... extract http://download.microsoft.com/... to your system32 folder





In the same directory as the PP folder:





perl makefile.pl


nmake install
